Recipe analytics
Recipes are generated when a design is completed and saved, whether to be added to cart, wishlist, or simply to be shared by a user to social media or email. Recipes contain a full description of the design, including all personalization and customization points, selected images, text personalizations.
Privacy considerations
Recipe Analytics does not capture user-uploaded images or personally identifiable information (PII) such as IP addresses, email addresses, physical addresses, or similar data. However, customers should note that text personalization data may be accessible and included in analytics reports.
Accessing recipe analytics
Recipe Analytics can be accessed through a link in the Sidebar panel:
Doing so will open the recipes analytics dashboard. Key elements of the dashboard include:
New analytics query request
A quick overview of top saved recipes for the past 30 days
A breakdown of saved recipes by site or channel

Querying recipe analytics
The natural language processing interface allows to easily ask the platform questions about recipes performance, for example:
top 10 personalizations this month
number of recipes with personalization by day this month
number of recipes converted to orders last month
top 10 products year to date
When defining queries, use the Customizer-specific terms in the report, such as placements and components. Be more specific, for example, instead of saying "sole" prefer "placement named sole" or "placement name containing sole".
Time range
Most queries specify the applicable time range to look at. Please note that because of the analytics nature of this system, the general convention is not to include “today” in the report, unless specifically requested, as the data may be yet incomplete and may skew the results.
For example, if “today” is Monday, the “last 7 days” report would calculate the data for the previous week, previous Monday through Sunday.
